Recently we were approached by one of our Pub Company clients who had several locations that were experiencing difficulties using A-Boards due to limited space on the pavement. The client wanted to advertise on the outside of their pubs but also faced another issue: several of the sites were Listed buildings, meaning nothing could be physically attached to the outside of the pub. So the challenge was set…Assigns was asked to come up with a solution that would be single sided and sit against the outside wall of the pub, but didn’t need to physically attach to the wall for either security or stability. Several design concepts and ideas were explored before eventually settling on the idea of integrating half an A-Board with a decorative planter, thus giving stability and security due to the weight of the soil. Once the design was approved Assigns manufactured the units and supplied them to multiple pub locations – with great results!
