Paddy Power Stormforce II Sign

We were pleased to be able to join forces with Paddy Power to help create a ‘Bagpipe Friendly Zone’ in Gloucester during the rugby world cup.

The high-street bookmaker used one of our Stormforce II pavement signs – featuring a customisable header panel – to declare its Southgate Street shop as a bagpipe-friendly location ahead of Scotland’s opening match against Japan.

The declaration was made after the World Cup organisers banned the iconic Scottish instrument from all stadiums during the tournament.

This great pavement and forecourt sign was used to invite the thousands of tartan-clad fans to enjoy a bagpipe-blowout – without incurring the wrath of any match day stewards.

At Assigns, we’re big fans of the top sporting events and all the traditions that go with them, so if you’re in the area, feel free to pop into our office and say hello – you’re even welcome to bring along your bagpipes and play us a tune!
